what we did:

Brand strategy, brand design, web design and SEO.

challenge:

Ian Hassell came to us looking for help with brand strategy, brand design, website design and SEO.
Since he didn't have a website his clients were booking his adventures through third party platforms that were taking a significant cut, and he wanted to streamline his tours in one place by having his own website and booking platform as a way to cut down on costs. Having so many separate booking platforms meant that Ian had a lot of administrative work to do behind the scenes and he wanted to create systems that cut down on that which would allow him to focus on his tours.

solution:

First we facilitated a 90-minute brand strategy workshop where we got to know the deeper aspects of Ian's business, such as business and personal goals, mission, vision, values, target audience, competitors, brand messaging, brand voice, and visual preferences. Based on this information we conducted research on how to best position Adventures in Unspoiled Spain in the market to help it stand out as a recognizable brand and attract Ian's ideal clients. After researching how to position Ian's business we came up with two different mood boards that aligned with the research findings in our brand strategy workshop. From there we designed the visual elements of the brand and came up with the logos and brand marks seen here. We wanted to pull in natural elements into the logo. The solid circle "O" in unspoiled with the solid line underneath represents a sun rising over the horizon. We decided to use softer elements and rounded corners for buttons and photos on Ian's website, as well as wavy scrolling text throughout the website to represent rivers.

functionalities:

We created a 5 page Squarespace website that included a home page, about page, adventures page, gallery page and contact page. We integrated a booking calendar into his website so customers can now find all of his tours in one place. We set up Stripe as a payment processor through his booking calendar.
